If you see oil around the reduction drive it needs to be repaired or replaced.

If you have seen some seepage or been running your motor for many hours it is good to check and change the reduction drive oil on your ROS engine. Deano suggests changing the oil every 50 hours and/or once a year.

Checking and tightening cylinder head bolts

Dean Eldridge teaches us how to check and tighten cylinder head bolts on this PAP with a Ros motor. Make sure and watch - he has a little trick to help you with your spark plug. Make sure all bolts are tightened correctly using Loctite. Make sure to clean off the area to monitor seepage. Put in a new spark plug, finger tight then 1/4 turn with a wrench. Put in a new spark plug and off you go!
